relief
we’re officially moved in. my workspace is back together, dishes are drying in the rack, cats are sunbathing by the sliding glass door. everything is lighter, more welcoming. we can’t get the couch into the living room, but who cares.
i’m in love when i expected only to tolerate it – its old jalousie windows and pine needle yard, the weird trickling sink in my office. i spend my time in the shower listing everything i’m grateful for, and i haven’t run out of things to say once.
