links and media for dark days
i don’t even have it in me to complain at this point, so here are some things making life worth living lately:
listers: a glipse into extreme birdwatching, a documentary. reminds me vaguely of my favorite doc, the parking lot movie.
/
jury duty presents: company retreat, mockumentary series, reminder that humans are still good.
/
dtf st. louis, dark comedy / whodunit.

this series lives up to the hype if it’s your kind of read – or if, like in my case, you just really love cats.
the books are all available on kindle unlimited and if you download them there first, the audiobooks are around $5 on audible. you can likely also find them on libby, but i’ve been on the list at my library since february 10th, so expect a long wait.
here is a youtube short showcasing jeff hays’s stellar voice performance. the end credits of book 5 triggered one of the most emotional experiences i’ve ever had with a book!!!

angine de poitrine, in case you missed their performance on KEXP.
